Festive Bubble Warm Recipes

I opened the window yesterday... and there it was. The smell. The great spicy orchard smell of the autumn ending and winter approaching. But the smell was coming from the market down the street. That's too far. I need it closer . Closer to my building pile of Christmas presents in the cupboard, ready to be wrapped in the coming weeks.

Why not have the smell at your own business? Or home? Close.. within reach, these recipes will hopefully help you, don't forget to check out our website for our winter sale! Bubbleteahousecompany.com

For a Spiced Apple Cider, you will need:

250ml Apple Syrup
150ml Yellow Peach Syrup
30ml Kumquat Syrup
100ml Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup

For a Fruity Hot Bubble Punch you will need:

250ml Yellow Peach Syrup
150ml Tutti Frutti Syrup
30ml Orange Syrup
100ml Apple Syrup

For a Twisted Bubble Plum Punch you will need

250ml Plum Syrup
150ml Apple Syrup
30ml Sugar-free Caramel Syrup
100ml White Peach Syrup

For all the fruit punches/ciders
12L Cooking Pot
10L Boiling Water
12L Hot Tea Urn
30ml Fructose (optional)
3 Cinnamon Sticks
2 Star Anise
1 Fresh Apple
1 Fresh Mandarin Orange

Serves:

27X 360ml Cup

Instructions:

1. In a large cooking pot, at high heat, place the boiling water, the syrups and fructose and stir. When the water comes to a boil, turn the heat to low.

2. Add the spices and fresh fruit (cut into pieces, de-seeded) and stir.

3. Leave to simmer for 1hr.

3. Turn off the heat and place in a 12L Hot Water urn.

4. Serve.

Note:

By adding the fructose, you will make your drink sweeter than it normally would be. When you are ready to serve, only fill 3/4 of your cup, add boiling water and this will bring back the proper temperature to your drink.

Best Option: To have the perfect cider, continue simmering until serving. If you do this, there is no need to add fructose.

TURBOBBLE!

Don't forget that anything can turn into a Bubble Tea! Add warm tapioca pearls to your drink, but just be careful because they will be hot.

To avoid any mishaps, if you wish to add pearls to your drink, keep your cider in a 12L container. This will ensure that your cider is not dangerously hot when you serve it with the Tapioca Pearls. But still remain cautious, specially with children.

Machines, Machines, Machines

Getting all the attention this week: Our great selection of specialized Bubble Tea equipment!

Why are they so special?
To begin with, they are unique to our industry, but they can be used by other trades.
They look... complicated!
Quite the opposite. They have been built to be a part of the fast paced food industry. One button does all at the work so you don't have to!
Do they have any certification?
They do! They are all CE safety certified.
What if I'm buying in Europe, do they come with a converter?
Even better than that, you can purchase our machines (except our blender) with either UK or EU plugs!
What about their warranty?
1 Year manufacturers warranty is in place for our range of equipment.
What if they break?
These things happen! We don't want you to stress out, and we will do everything we can to either assist you either with a quick fix or with a more serious problem.
For a Bubble Tea shop, do I need all of them?
Yes.
Our sealing machine is an absolute must, it is part of the charm and attractive nature of Bubble Tea.
The fructose dispenser is a great tool to regulate sugar content, control waste and speed production.
Many Bubble Tea shops opt to have only blenders instead of a shaking machine and a blender. But please please, do not make this mistake! At Bubble Tea House Company we have spent extensive hours researching the effect of Blenders vs. Shaking Machines and we have discovered that indeed the flavour is affected when you use a blender instead of a shaking machine! So... for the longevity of your business and customer satisfaction, we strongly suggest that if your Bubble Tea is meant to be shaken, shake it! Either by hand or by machine but DO NOT use a commercial blender!
The blender is great for being able to do milkshakes and slushy drinks which are essential if you are to have a diversified menu ready to attract a wide array of customers.

That is all for now... but there is so much more to machines! They are fabulous, attractive, unique, easy to use and very well priced!

Don't forget, our prices include VAT. If you are VAT registered the listed prices drop by 20%!

Back from Taiwan

First and foremost, on behalf of Bubble Tea House Company we would like to extend our thanks to everyone in Taiwan who made our visit easy, fun, informative and so much more! In fact, a mere thank you, doesn't seem enough. We are so incredibly excited to have found such amazing partners that share our vision of a Bubble Tea Revolution and we cannot wait to move forward with our plans!

Taiwan seems like a beautiful country, it is a shame that we had no time to experience it at all! We spent so much time in meetings and visiting local vendors of Bubble Tea that we felt like we were in an apprentice challenge! But, we cannot wait to share our new products, ideas and so much more with you. We hope that in the coming months you will move alongside of us at the forefront of the Bubble Tea Revolution that is taking the European culinary arena by storm!

For one week we took part in further training, discussions with current manufacturers and potential new partners, developed new recipe formulas to improve product quality. We delved deeper into the past, present and future trends of the Bubble Tea industry in Taiwan and globally. Also, we sourced new ideas that will make an impact in your business and will help you grow your sales. All in all we submerged ourselves yet again in the world of Bubble Tea as it is in Taiwan.

At the moment, we cannot encourage you enough to sign up to our newsletter and keep checking facebook and twitter for new blog updates. A lot will change in the following months leading up to spring! We haven't been sending many newsletters at the moment, but please bare with us... we are gearing up to take the Bubble Tea world by storm and we cannot wait for you to be a part of it with us!

Thanks again Taiwan!!!!

TEA SALE! Oh so very exci-TEA-ng!

What would bubble tea be without the tea?

Two of our travel bubble researchers took it upon themselves to find out just that.

Mission: to find out exactly how important tea is in bubble tea.
Location: Vancouver, Canada. Home to some of the best bubble tea in the World.
Researchers: Agent Bubble07 with the help of Miss Mango Pobbles.
Strategy: visit as many bubble tea shops, assess their popularity and determine what makes them popular. From there, find out if there is a link between popularity and the use of freshly brewed tea in  bubble tea shops.
Findings:
My apologies to our dear agents for divulging the following information, but to be honest, they did not have a clue of how to approach this scientifically! Instead of just drinking enough bubble tea to make a sound conclusion they went on a binge bubble tea drinking spree! They are now suffering from withdrawal symptoms and lowered their consumption to one bubble tea per day. It's been tough and our heart goes out to them, we all know how easy it is to become a bubble tea addicted lover!
Going back to the research...
Agent Bubble07 and Miss Pobbles both concluded that indeed, the most popular bubble tea shops in Vancouver used freshly brewed tea in many of their drinks! Although bubble tea does not require tea to taste good, there are certain recipes that are so much better when tea is used, such as Lemon-Kumquat slush. When our agents tried one from a shop that uses tea head to head with another one from a shop that doesn't they clearly found that there definitely is a connection between the places with a large queue and those without!
We had one question to our agents, as bubble tea barista trainers we couldn't help but wonder:
In England, people are not so fond of Iced Tea, what would the reaction be if we make our bubble tea with cold tea?!
To this, Agent Bubble07 replied:
That is the trick that requires practise. Bubble Tea masters like the ones from the most popular Bubble Tea shop in Vancouver, Dragon Ball, have their method well under control. So much so that unless you are a veteran bubble tea conoiseur, in some of their delicious recipes you will never know there is tea. In others, the tea is very present, but pleasantly mixed with your choice of flavour.

Thank you for your exciting research results Agent Bubble07 and Pobbles!
To help you on your quest of getting to the perfect Bubble Tea we have introduced a 25% discount on all our loose-leaf tea!
Don't miss a minute and start practising to become a great bubble tea barista master just like the ones from the incredibly popular Dragon Ball!

Excited, nervous and incredibubbly happy

And finally, one more day... one more sleep...

It's hard to describe the atmosphere in the office this morning.
All our mornings went something like this: 4:30am none of us could sleep. 6am we were checking our e-mails. 7:30am we were walking through our doors.
The unorganized coordination of schedules was so accurate that it kinda frightened us!
But.. we can't help ourselves. It's such an amazing feeling to be almost there.
Obviously, like with anything so important, everything was going array this week. The website was broken a couple of times, the transaction process not really in place... everything that could go wrong was going wrong.
I'd like to say that we all have the ability to look at the silver lining right after the storm, but to be quite honest, it's been such a stressful week that it's been impossible to calm down.
Having said that, we are so excited about our website launching that everything that has happened this week feels like a giant blur. We don't even have the desire to fight with our computers (mine just came back from the Apple shop after a week long coma), or to worry about the car not starting. Why is it that things always go wrong all at once?! That unorganized coordination eerily moves around us.

We have done everything we can to source the best products, to get the best deals, to organize the most secure payment features for our customers and the most reliable delivery methods. Our goal is to embrace technology on one front pushing our e-commerce features to be as up to date as they can be. We are buddy buddies now with Twitter and Facebook. But we will also do our best to keep our business as old school as possible (we believe in hand written letters, one-on-one customer support, and plain pen and paper).

So here it goes... one more night... one more sleep. Tomorrow... you are only a day away.

Bubble Tea House Company: A moment to enjoy

As we sit here in the office tying up all the last loose bits before our big launch, we can't help but feel incredibly excited about what is about to happen on Friday.
Last September, we set out on a quest to find not only the best possible products, but to find innovative suppliers that would create reliable partnerships with us as we aim to revolutionise the world of Bubble Tea.
For months we researched, gathered, traveled and worked endless hours so that we can get together the list of supplies which make up our wholesale website. Our main goal is to eliminate from your list the tedious and oftentimes frustrating task of sourcing and importing, allowing you to have more time in your business to develop recipes and wow costumers.
We cannot wait to feel the joy of having fellow Bubble Tea businesses start working alongside of us, and together we will begin to do our best to bring to this market the deliciously sedductive drinks.

We love you Glasgow!

The amount of snow that Glasgow received this past December did not stop us from heading up there to do further Bubble Tea research. Our flight was better than most flights that we have been taking lately. There was hardly any turbulence, and the skies were clear which allowed us to have a wide view of the United Kingdom as we flew from Stansted into Glasgow.
When we arrived, we stepped out of the plane and we thought we were back in Canada! The air was a bone chilling -7 degrees, but with the wind it felt five degrees lower than that. There was a thin layer of ice on the ground and piles of snow to the side. We skated our way back to the terminal, where we picked up our luggage and headed outside to catch a bus that would take us straight into town.
Although our hotel was not far, we decided to jump in a taxi because of the dangerous conditions for walking on ice, added to our labour of towing our suitcases. But, just like us, half of Glasgow decided it was best to take taxis than to walk in the freezing city streets. Which left us with two choices, wait for a taxi for two hours, or walk and drag your luggage through the ice, snow and mud.
But we made it.... we had to make one stop, our toes were beginning to freeze because we didn't have the right footwear. When we removed our shoes, my toes were the worst... they were so red they almost started to look blue. After rubbing them to generate heat, we got our shoes back on and started to make our way outside.
Except... we had no idea where we were going! And this is the moment we realized we loved Glasgow... out of nowhere, a young woman approached us and asked us if we needed any help. Since we did, she explained to us how to get to our destination, walked outside with us and guided us perfectly! It was freezing, and she didn't have to go outside and yet she did! She was the second person to spot us with a map, looking lost, that offered help that night. The friendliness of the Galswegieans stuck throughout our trip. Taxi drivers, restaurant waiters, hostesses, hotel staff, people on the street, shopkeepers... everywhere we looked there were friendly faces. Even with the weather being as harsh as it was, they had a smile on and they were eager to chat and help you.
Thank you Glasgow for making our visit so pleasant. Our research was very successful during our trip. We can't wait to go back and start trading with you our delicious Bubble Tea drinks, powders, syrups and ideas.
